I am an art historian specialising in nineteenth-century visual culture, hand-held ephemera, materiality, and transnational print production in the long nineteenth century. My research reconstructs the networks of printers, manufacturers, materials, and visual repertoires through which commercial images circulated between Latin America, Europe, and the United States, combining archival research, comparative object study, and material analysis.
